Thank you all. you are right wendy I do feel happier this time, the vet took his time with us and went through every thing in such great detail, I loved the way he interacted with Jake bearing in mind how over zealous Jake can be and Jake liked him too, he really made you feel as if he understood our feelings it was not rushed at all, we felt as if we could have stayed all day if needed, also Jake has come out of the ga so differently, that has put my mind at ease, Jake really does look like he is on 'something'
I may have used the wrong term, the breaks are cracks and very fine, a bit like joggers get I assume, the vet referred to them as fine breaks the long fine crack is the one which he felt was a worry as it shows no signs of healing itself but he will take care of that...
Izzy, he explained the knee op as a very simple procedure, where they attach 2 pieces of false ligament in a cross front and back if that makes any sense? it sounded the same as mary's cindy had done, but he may only require it done at the back, he will know when he looks but its done through a very small opening. or indeed he may decide the rest will heal that too, he will know better when he takes a look
Mary, no, he wasn't able to keep the teddy but I think thats just a blurr to him now lol

Well I was told that there are so many different ways to treat the cruciate ligament successfully, I wish our specialist would do more for Izzy, it seems to be a case of 1 step forward and 2 steps back at the moment, still looking for that light at the end of the tunnel
