Murphy who as you probably know is now 5 monthsish.Well the last couple of days after he has been sleeping, when he gets up he has got a serious limp on his back end.Origially I panicked about his hips but both his parent had low hip scores( 4.5 ane 5.5 I think)I read various posts on here and then came up with he has growing pains.
After taking him out today where he was running like the loon he is and jumping in the river we then came home and he had a sleep . now when he just woke up he is limping bad again and on inspection it appears to be his rear right leg on what I would call his elbow joint. His left leg moves freely but his right feels really stiff almost like it has to jump to bend completely.
Do you think I need to start worrying or could it just be something simple?

Don't get a call out - it's not an emergency as in he needs seeing today, just call the vets monday morning and make a regular appointment.
You're right to get it checked out, but don't start panicking yet - there are all sorts of reasons why he may be stiff. Have a good honest chat with your vet who is there to help.
Good luck, let us know how you get on
btw Boomer had HD, it's not pleasant but she is recovering well from her treatment - so even if it's bad news (which it probably won't be) it's not the end of the world
