I used here : http://www.labradornet.com/index_e.html to search for doggy relatives, it doesn't give pictures, but I found out what colours were in Molly's family tree and D.O.B's etc. I did have another site, but I can't find it at the moment. If you look here; http://www.carriegame.co.uk/ophoto.html there are pictures of alot of dogs that are being shown currently

I think Boothgates Headliner can be found in alot of pedigrees, he's towards the back end of Molly's, she also has Simandem Sam Browne, I recognise alot of the names mentioned Smile

Thank you for your replies I wasn't surprised to find that Boothgates Headliner was the main family link. He seems to be everywhere!!! I could not get on the forum for hours and hours yesterday (talk about cold turkey!!) so I spent the afternoon doing stacks of research. Managed to get most of the GGGG/GP but there are a couple of GGG/GP that seem to be the end of line then no further family tree or information. We have alot of Mattand on Truffles mum's side. Does anyone know anything about them? They don't seem to have a web site. I have found a contact name and email address but don't really want to contact when just looking up dogs for own research. How far have any of you traced your labs family tree? Or am I just sad!

If they think anything of their own dogs, I'm sure they would be only too pleased for you to contact them by email, you may get some pictures in return Smile

I had a 5 generation pedigree for Molly, but it was very interesting to find out the colours of the ancestors as well as their birth dates, hip scores etc.

I also need to contact Truffles breeder! Need to send some photo's and write to let her know how wonderfully Truffles is getting on. Been meaning to do this since before xmas!

Looking back is really interesting isn't. As you said about the colours in the line. Also where dog or there off spring end up all over the world.
