After Maggies spaying yesterday the vet told us to keep her buster collar on for 10 days Shocked I know that a lot of peeps on here didn't use them but when we removed it last night she immediately started having a go at her stitches Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Anyway I think that some peeps used T shirts and I have put one on her which she hates and it doesnt seem to cover the wound:

Have I got it on wrong or what? Confused Laughing Dont laugh!

I will have to put the collar back on tonight when she goes in her crate (I slept downstairs with her last night and didnt get much sleep!)

Any other suggestions??

I was at home with Boo all day (i work from home) after her op so was able to stop any stitch nibbles by saying NO. We only used the buster for 2 nites after that she left them alone. I can see that a T could easily be lifted up by a nose. I think I just distracted Boo and with the firm NOs she didn't bother really, just the old lick or sniff. Sorry not really much help. Maybe perceiver with the buster, I am sure you are so tired that you will sleep through anyting tonite and it wont be for ever.

I would only do that for during the night and i plan to add some velcro so that it will be loose around the wound or maybe use a mess material like gauze type, was the vet who gave me this idea pmpl
