I must admit i read other peoples posts & they make me smile, they make me laugh and sometimes they worry me.

This morning i got to thinking is Mia a proper Lab. I am sure she thinks she is Human.

We never have problems with barking, biting, stealing, rolling and what seems to be normal for other Labs. She only gets wet or muddy in the company of others (GT's etc). At home she will walk miles to avoid mud or water !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't get me wrong she is the perfect family pet & I trust her 100%, but if she gets any more laid back she will fall over.

I know like people not all Labs are the same, but Mia is so different.

Am i being paranoid ???

awwwww enjoy it!!!!!!!!

I'm sure she's all lab, but just perhaps more refined!!! hehe Laughing Laughing perhaps your human behaviours have rubbed off on her somewhat during her training and life so far resulting in a balanced canine!!!!! Like you say all dogs are different, just like us humans - I reckon you've dropped on - Lucky You!!!!!! Laughing Laughing Laughing

I think they're just all different, for example Baxter has never ever rolled in anything (crosses fingers in case of tempting fate), he'll eat poo, but never roll in it.

They're just quirky little peeps!

Rolo is quite laid back, doesnt roll in anything ,avoids puddles ,doesnt steal from benches. The only really annoying thing he does is eat dog poo which from previous posts is a Labby thing.

my late lab tessa HATED water wouldnt go near it.. she was just our big brown bear with no brains..lmao.. she was so clumsy and just well last in the que for brains..lmao...

my labs i have now couldnt be more opposite..

brandy 8yrs old.... loves water attacks hose pipe wanting me to put it on.. she barks at ppl walking past our garden....she wont sit still while you fuss her infact she hardly sits still at all she is sooooooo nosey... she is a greedy sod....and in her younger days chewed through the electric cable at the back of the cooker..lol..

rosze 2yrs old.... hates the hosepipe but LOVES the sea...NEVER barks at anyone she only barks if she wants brandy to play....FUSSY sod when it comes to trying to treat train her..lol.. she was a CHEWER and i mean a chewer..lol..she is also laid back she will just flop down and chill and youw ould have to step over her to get past she wouldnt move for you..lol..she is just one lunp of a choccy baby that sometimes thinks she is a yorkie and can fit snuggly on ya knee on the chair..LMAO..

if all labs were the same or act the same they would get boring i think..lol...

PMSL - sounds Like Hally and Mia are related Laughing Laughing she actually tiptoes around the garden when it is raining - or refuses point blank to go out Rolling Eyes - doesn't stop her diving into the freezing cold sea though Rolling Eyes

Hally does bark and steal - but she doesn't chew - and never has done Shocked whereas Clover on the hand - well Rolling Eyes Confused - I don't think anything could have prepared us for that little bundle of h... sorry fun Rolling Eyes Embarassed

Don't be paranoid - They are just all different Very Happy - my once beautiful mature garden is living proof of that Confused Shocked

Whoever started the myth that chocs are the nuttiest colour definitely hadn't met my two Rolling Eyes

love coal to death but he can be a right little sod when he wants and some days i just wanna cry (and sometimes actually do!) but he makes me laugh too! esp when he bum tucks and charges into the sofa, bounces back off it and off again only to slam into the wall! dozy puppy!

you just have to love em Very Happy

When we are walking on the pavement, Jansen will pull me in a puddle so he can walk round it, if we are in a field he will head for any amount of water & jumps straight in the pond !

Must a case of its all or nothing Very Happy
