Well i`m not a vet but I`d point it to being from his start in life or has he lost more and got more thinning patches since he`s been with you?.

Jake seems very young to have Cushings and I`d want to be very sure thats what he has before the vet starts giving treatment for it.

Oh Georgia, I didn't know Jess had a prob with her legs hope she is ok xx

I dont think our vet thinks it is cushings but he just wanted to explain all possibilities and what they would be testing for, hopefully its just hormonal and I hope the very expensive synoquin (£66) helps his legs, till we know what is going on in there

thank you all, I will keep you posted, I feel better about the whole anesthetic thing now, hubby gave me a talking to, he said if he had a bloat like Jakie I would be begging for them to operate!! which I would.... I was just taken aback earlier I think... silly old me Sad

oh Karen how awful for you, i cant imagine what yuour feeling, but im sure Jake will be fine under the GA, what happened to Jakie was horrible but very very rare .
