Hi everyone,

We have now secured a microchipper to attend the Get Together Very Happy

He is fully qualified, fully insured and comes with a fully qualified assistant.

The cost will be £13.50 per dog and they are graciously giving a donation to us on the day....

Naturally we are delighted and hope they will all be well supported in helping to protect our pups.......

So,......anyone interested please join this thread.... Very Happy

I assume this gentleman won`t be able to do or rather redo CJ cos he won`t have the same letters as the lady frim last year?, will check with the people that run it.

As for wording your sentence better all depends how the mind works as to how its read Wink Laughing

A microchip guy AND a tattoo guy, nice one Rhoni!

Bumping to the top, no excuses for 'unmarked' pups now!

Hi Mary......

As Lucy advised this thread was about Microchipping not tattooing...but seeing as you asked.....I see you say CJ's tattoo is causing you a problem. You say you have to ' stretch ' his ear for it to be read. Both my girls have to have their ear bent back and ' opened ' to be read. That is normal.

Assuming CJ's tat, with the ear ' opened ' can be read, then there is no reason, requirement or obligation for him to have another.

I have posted on another thread to Denise.......here is my reply....

If all the numbers are present.....albeit difficult to read....it will still be fine Denise. Even if a couple of numbers / letters are ' obscure ' they will still relate to your lab.

Look at it this way.......the tattooist has his/her own ' reference number ' ( part of the tat ) the remaining numbers ( obscure or not ) have been catalogued.

So .....the likelyhood of another dog with similiar numbers being a lab, the right age / colour / sex / entire or not / chipped/ contact address reduces all odds to zilcz......'

HTH Mary
