Today Elsa had 2 lumps removed.
She has had them for quite some time and they have not been a concern to the vet or myself until recently. The one on her left shoulder was getting so big and heavy it was starting to restrict her mobility and as she has arthritis in her left elbow she was carrying a lot of extra weight on her bad leg.
The other was on her left hind leg. She still has about 6 more lumps but they are not bothering her in any way.
She has a wound about 8inches long on her shoulder and one about 5inches on her leg. She is feeling very sorry for herself and I have had to leave my OH babysitting her whilst I type this as she whimpers every time we leave her on her own. As soon as I stroke her she stops Sad
I am going to sleep downstairs with her tonight incase she wants to go out in the night. I don't think I could carry her up and down stairs Shocked (even if she is 7 kilos lighter)
There seems to be the start of a fluid build up in the cavity on her shoulder. Does any-one know ....would they normally put a drain in? I'm sure they would have on a human bod.
So...please could you send some healing vibes to my poor old girl. I'm hoping she'll get a new lease of life when she's all healed as she wont have so much weight to carry around.
