Wehad a fantastic time today - it was lovely to meet you all, and hopefully we will be able to come along to the next one as well.
Cocoa is completely pooped and snoring his little head off!
We had a great day with our sandy she had to have a good bath when she got home though as she stank.
She was fairly clean as she was in the water quite a bit but right at the end there was a muddy stream so what does she do goes straight in and got covered.
Then she got a thorn in her foot and i had trouble seeing it with all the mud.
She loved the little spaniel and had to roll around on the ground playing with rolo.
The little spaniel was Topsy, and I think she was taken with Sandy too. She is usually unfazed by big dogs. I could let her off-lead eventually, once she had got the idea of running with the pack rather than disappearing to be a speck on the horizon.
She certainly seemed to enjoy being an honourary lab for the afternoon.
What a brilliant afternoon we had yesterday, despite getting totally lost and driving round half of Essex (never listen to a Policeman's directions!!!) Thanks Nat for talking me through it and getting me there in the end!!!
Sam, Rolo didn't swim either She just waited in the shallows, the nice, smelly muddy bits, and tried to steal everyones ball or stick.
Was great to meet so many new people and their furbabies. Sorry if I didn't get to chat to everyone but I'm sure you all got a lovely stinky wet hello from Rolo
Crissi, I think she was trying to get your OH (sorry I don't know his name) to take her home .. she certainly took a shine to him
She is such a little minx with the men, gawd knows where she gets that from
