Charlie is a bit like Coal on the swimming front, Sam. He will actually go into the water, but prefers splashing around within his depth. Panics a bit if he suddenly ends up out of it, although he can actually swim very well if he has to.
I remember at one of the GTs at Thorndon South last year he too fell into one of the lakes by accident, as the mud on the bank was extremely slippery. Shocked himself, but certainly managed to swim.
Hope the cold is gone soon.

all the pictures of coal are where he's balanced on the edge of the water hee hee
i had to laugh as we were all walking thru the car park at the end... some bloke commented 'this looks like a labrador convention' and i said IT IS!
he looked a bit shocked! as even more labs walked past hee hee
