Hi, I have never shown before (horses don't count) so I wondered if anyone can tell me if they think this little bitch (35 wks tomorow) has any potential.
She weights about 21 Kg & is 19" to the shoulder at the mo, she was fatter but we made changes to her diet and exercise to slim her down a little.
Thanks for looking.
Sghe has a lot of the right breed points there, you might want to learn to freestand her rather than 'stack her' like a Golden Retriever or other 'stacked' breed... a labrador freestood looks much better as you don't artifically change her tail set or topline etc. She is also pushing her head back into her shoulders to sniff at your treat you are baiting with reducing her reach of neck and cramping the front end up a little....
She would probably need a little more weight on to really compete - but how old is she?
She is balanced front and rear, not overly graced with angulation in stifle or shoulder, but her topline coat, tail, feet, bone and depth of body seems very nice.
Herheadshot in your car appears to show a nice expression and good length of muzzle, but this is only one opinion. Is she avbout 6 months of age? She looks around this sort of age?

Nudge is 35 weeks tomorow.
A lot of your terminology is foreign to me I'm afraid, stacked? is that a way of having her stand all kind of cramped up?
here is another more natural shot, any better?
By the way, I don't believe that 'horses don't count' Big difference in size, granted, but conformation is conformation and movement is movement, and if you are used to looking for both then whatever the species, it helps. Except for sheep... (why would you and how do you tell what's under that fleece??)
But seriously, many people have successfully shown both horses and dogs, and if you have an eye for one it often helps with the other
