Ok so is it just our Tilly or did anyone elses bitches blood spray up the walls leaving a scene like that from Chain Saw Massacre???!!!!

Tilly is at the end of week 3 of her first season and each day I am having to clean up what looks like a crime scene!!

How much longer does the season go on for, please tell me no more than another week!!

Hopefully soon she will begin to stop they are usually 21 days but they can be longer, so if she is bleeding longer than 21 days she is still in season. Sad

Majic was messy but not as bad as Tilly Very Happy

My sisters labs season was like you describe and it was what prompted me into getting Simba spayed. I posted it at the time and was told by someone on here that I was making it up as seasons are not like that. But I had witnessed it and like you said it was like a scene out of a horror film and she managed to get in on the kids clothes, seatee everywhere and my sister was constantly cleaning. I think it lasted about 2 weeks.

I know exactly what you mean Tracey, my sisters lab Sofie also sat on my mums coat when she was round there! My sister constantly had the washing machine on with cushion covers, throws etc in it and my sister just spent two weeks mopping and following Sofie around. I think my sister was depressed by the end of it!

Sounds like all the ones I have had in season, even months after I would find blood splashes in hidden places! Last year I fostered a Lab for a rescue though and after a few days here she came into season and that was the worst I have ever experiences by a long long long way, she would get up from a sleep and there would literally be floods of blood, the poor love. It was quite scary actually, I was beginning to wonder if there was something else wrong with her.

It amazes me vet criteria, Majic could only be done 3 months after the finish of her season Rolling Eyes
