Alfie's got the squits really bad Crying or Very sad

It's really worrying me because i can now clearly see his ribs Sad since having him weighed over a week ago, i have been increasing his meals but now he's got this upset tummy, he's probably lost more weight Crying or Very sad

He's not going constantly but everytime he does go, its like water (hope no ones eating while reading this Embarassed ) i only took him for a short walk today and i think the exercise stimulated his bowels even more cos he went several times on the walk but since getting home nearly 3 hours ago, he hasn't been anymore.

I've got chicken and rice for him tonight to see if that helps, i really don't want to starve him for 24 hours cos of the weight issue Sad

If he's no better tomorrow then i will starve him and see what happens, obviously if theres no improvement by monday, we'll be off to the vets!!!

Please can he have some special LF healing vibes Smile

oohh poor Alfie - sending lots of vibes Lacey. TBH I would think a 24 starve will be better for the weight that losing everything he eats for a few days - I know when I have starved Ruby she hasnt lost any weight purely due to the starvation period - hth

Aww Lacey, its so worrying when they are out of sorts. I dont think starving for one day will have a massive impact on the weight issue but you no Alfie the best and the if you think the plain stuff will work then go ahead. We tend of sort of no whats right and wrong for our doggies. The vets are always on the end of the phone for advice. A quick call can give plenlty of reassurance.
