Hi all

Hershey has been to the Vets today because he started limping last week after a very energetic walk basically he wouldnt stop running around like an idiot. We have rested him for a week but no change so OH took him to the vet today and guess what he now has a problem with his other back leg and it is the cruciate ligment in that one now.

I am really annoyed because he has been having coorsequin DS since 2004 and it hasnt protected his good leg. He is now down to go in on the 9th Feb to manipulate the leg to make sure it is the ligament and if so they will operate then and there as they dont really want to give him to anesthetics as he is nearly 8.

I am also really worried about him having the anesthetic because of his age I am waiting for the VET to call me and go through what she will do and also and estimated cost...

So my poor cuddly little monkey needs healing vibes.... and Lots of TLC from us....

Poor you, what a worrying time.

I'm afraid I don't know much about ligaments, but do know how worrying it is when you're anxiously waiting for a diagnosis.

I really hope all turns out ok.
