Hi everyone

Sorry I haven't replied to your messages, but things have been a bit hectic here. Firstly, bons hasn't had another fit and seems like she's returned to her old self again which is great news, but were still keeping our fingers crossed she won't have another fit!

In sept last year we found a small growth on her back. To describe it, it was a growth under the skin about the size of a golf ball. On the surface was and still is a little white cyst with a tiny hole in the middle. Well we noticed that it was ouzing white matter. We took her to get checked and she was put on a course of antibiotics twice! It did go down to about the size of a pea, so she never had any further treatment.

Yesterday she had a checkup at the vets regarding her general health and the fit of last week. Well, the vet checked her back and the lump or growth is back again. We had noticed it was getting larger but previously been assured there was nothing to worry about. Its not ouzing yet but to be safe she's going to have it removed tomorrow morning via surgery. Alison (our vet) has assured us that she will be fine. Her heart is good and breathing normal.

Regarding your question on cataracts John, yes she definitely has them Alison checked yesterday and confirmed it. Her weight has now returned to near normal about 29kg but she's still under weight but getting there.

It looks like I may have to subscribe now as this is my last post.

Thank you so much for all your kind thoughts and I'll speak later.

Jackie xx

Hi Gill & Mary

Thank you so much for your lovely reassuring wishes. We know she will be ok, but its also very worrying considering her fit last week. Shes booked in for 8.40 am so she'll be home around 5pm tomorrow evening.

Can I also say Gill your little girl looks just like ours did at the same age!

Still not managed to post a pic of them yet, not sure how to do it!

Jackie & Bon Bons
xx

Hi guys

Thank you so much for everything, she's just gone outside with her daddy for a wee before she retires to bed. All she has now is water and lots of support from both of us. Hopefully, our little girl will be well after this. We will be picking her up from the vets arount 5pm tomorrow. So let keep our fingers xxxxx.

Luv to you all

Jackie & bon bons xxxx
