Awwww Sorry to hear about young Jack.

Synoquin is Glucosamine and Chondroitin, so you needn't double up on that. You could try Green lipped Mussel extract, I know some people have had good results with that.

Mojo has Cartrophen jabs, which act in the same way as the Synoquin. She also wears a magnetic collar (as does my old girl) as this seems to help with any stiffness and pain. She still has clicky elbows but it doesn't seem to bother her at all. Wink

Ca I just echo Jules (routemarchers) post, Jack has OA in his right elbow joint and limpe for months and was in a lot of pain.

We got a magnetic collar, postalpets do one with 7 magnets around for under £20, and also started him on a regime of G&C supps, Tesco and Sainsburys do them on offer as well occasionally and his food that I get from Postalpets contains G&C too.

Jack now runs around like he did before he got OA, so there is a light at the end of the tunnel Wink

Aw sorry to hear about Jack Sad I also read somewhere that MSM can be a good supplement but I don't know much about that Confused

Do you think hydrotherapy could help him at all? It could be worth investigating - I'm thinking of trying it with Jess even if it just turns out to be a strain as it may help her recover more quickly.

Hi, sorry to hear about your pup, ours had problems for about 8 years and our vet put her onto something called PLT, plus we found from the USA a natural called Arthrotol (they have a web site) which seemed to help her. He only had her on 1 pill a day to start but it can be built up to 4 a day. It wont cure but combined we found it helped her a lot. Hope this might be of some help to you
