Ruby is a cutie must have made it all more real now the waiting is so worth it Truffles is such a good little girl as I am sure Ruby will be.
Oh I don't know how real it's gonna feel until she is keeping me awake at night with her crying! At the moment it doesn't feel real. I've wanted a lab for so long that it's hard to believe I'm actually getting one!!!

Not much longer to go now, hang in there, it won't be long now and you'll be saying how hard it is being a puppy mummy and questioning your sanity in getting her
Probably!!! But that's when I can come on here and vent I have her enrolled in puppy pre-school already and her first class is 3 days after she comes home. Throwing the poor baby right in
By the way wish we had your weathet here at the moment, its so cold here.
You'd take that back if you were here to actually feel it It was about 42°C yesterday, and roughly the same today!! But admittedly, I prefer it stinking hot over the cold!
Wow! She is stunning- and is it just me or is she huge!?
I think she will be a big dog, Sonny wasnt that big at 8 weeks!!
He was the runt though and everyone commented at how little he was!
He's caught up now!!
Congrats on picking a real beauty!
Claire
Is Ruby really that big? I knew she'd be a little fatty already because she's only got 3 other siblings to share the food with! I guess I'm in for a huge dog when I go pick her up at 8 weeks! I was hoping she'd be a bit on the smaller side like her mother as I'm getting very worried I will have trouble handling her!
Do you have a pic of Sonny at 8 weeks I could possibly see?

LMAO we did the same thing with Ozzie and it didn't do him any harm!
Just be prepared that she might not want to join in straight away - I think it took Ozzie 3 weeks to get the guts to join in, until then Charlie and I just sat on the sidelines and listened to the trainer and Oz sat at our feet watching all the huge big enormous dogs (well, compared to him anyway!!).
Can't wait to land at Mascot and feel some of that heat... I've missed it!
She is probabley normal, but Ive become obsessed with comparing sizes as everyone said Sonny was so little, bless him, he a big boy now though, just, as ive put on another thread, they seem tog row at different rates, some start big and slow down earlier on whereas my little guy was tiny for so long, we were made to feel like weirdos in our local park!!!
I dont have any photos of him in my arms or against anything to show his size at that age but I remember that he was so little he used to sleep in my kittens bed, which was the tiniest bed I could buy, and was definatley about 2/3 of her size now!
