wow! huge replies!

anyway, on original question, yes very much so.

our new arrival comes from mum with pure working line, and sleek longer snout, and pure show line dad. dad much more square set, square forehead etc. dad is a champion doncha know!

interested to see who bitch pup takes after. according to breeder, it will be dad.

It will probably be a bit of a mix of both. There may well be parts of the dog that are like his show dad, possibly head, maybe feet etc etc but then that might be coupled with features of mum, longer legs, sleeker, slimmer of body. These mixed matings can throw up some very attractive dogs of several parts Wink

Who is the champion that is your pups Daddy? We love to know things to be proud of like that on here ...?

Di

That is how Mojo is bred too and she is beautiful (I am very biased of course Laughing ).

Mojo has a working dog brain, but is slighty thicker set than most FT types. Have a look through her album and you'll see what I mean. Wink

Our two working dogs are very different in type. Kelly is tall and finely built , i would describe her as very feminine and lady like (she is beautiful!) where as Gemma is much more robust , broader in the chest and much chunkier around the neck and head... a bit of a tomboy really!!

both are fab working dogs and Kelly (fully trained) is amazing to watch , a real workhorse!!

I guess its a matter of taste Razz .....

I always thought all labs were the same, but then when Stormy started puppy classes, the first thing the trainer said to me was he is from working stock and I was amazed and wondered how she knew until she explained lol. Working labs are slimer and they do not have the squarish look on their face that the other labs have.

welcome to the forum.
