Oh dear poor Dexter

He has been fine and fell aslepp in his usual place of in front of the door (come hell or high water I can't get hi away from it) anyway we have been walking and swimming today nothing unusual, he fell asleep and now has got up and can't weight bear on his right hind leg Sad

Could a draught on him caused this??? Sad

It could be a draft Carroll, try massaging his leg and see if that helps him to be able to bear weight on it, I`m assuming he was ok and not limping after his walk/swim today?

You could make a "sausage" to put along the bottom of the door to, that`ll help stop drafts affecting him hopefully Smile

Yeah fully checked pads and inbetween but nothing and I'm sure it is more his hip area as his leg seems quite loose (if you know what I mean) but his hip looks a bit stiff although I have done rotation with it and it is fremoving.

The prob with Dexter is he doesn't show or make a noise when in pain due to his last house Sad

I think if his hip was hurting, he would tense the muscles round it rather than let it hang loose.

Could he have laid on it funny and given himself pins and needles? Could he have twisted his back at all while he was out....thinking doggy sciatica here (if there is such a thing)?
