Last night a black lab dog was brought to my door, the person who found him was told to try me as I have labradors and possibly he was mine, well as most of you know I dont have boys.
well the person who brought him to me kept him for a few hours during which time she contacted the police to be told that someone had reported their lab missing, so she took the dog down to the police , they have since placed the dog at the pound, as the people when contacted said that they had got their dog back a couple of days ago..............
we are going to get the dog back and see what we can do about finding him his owner or a new forever home
anyone out there looking for a young male approx 2 years old with a great nature to both people and other dogs can contact me and we can take it from there
the dog was found wondering about in the village of Springside in Irvine on the 18th January at about 9pm, he is also an entire male( so he has all his bits intact)
hope someone can help out in this matter

How lucky for him that people in your neighbourhood thought of you.
Wish I could offer him a home, but think it might just be a bit soon for Cally, she's only 7 months and just been speyed today. Hope you find him a loving forever home soon xx
he is still at the pound at this time ....hoping he will be back here soon, at least then I can get the ball moving at least a little faster as they say

Hope this lad can either find his own home or a new forever one very soon Mhairi, thank goodness your well known in the area, hope the pound allow him out soon, may they keep for the statutory 7 days in case he`s claimed? (thats if its the same in Scotland as it is here)
Things that straight away spring to mind are to suggest posting in the found section on lostlabs.com and keeping an eye on doglost.co.uk. Hope that you get him back from the pound and can look after him so at least he is safe.
Duggy (well he is a dog) has just arrived at my home, he was still at the police station and Margaret ( the lady who found him) called and asked the police if he had been claimed and they said no so she went and got him back
will contact the local papers on monday and also contact the local radio station to post him there, will also get posters done and put them up every where
Margaret is going to take him to the vets tomorrow and get him checked for a microchip
have just logged him on the doglost.co.uk web site and will post him on LL asap
he is having the time of his life just now trying to mate old jade but she aint having it.....bless him lol

I got him checked at the vets this morning and was told that he is chipped and also got his owners name and address, tried calling and it is just ringing out
