Help...my pup has received her second nobivac injection a day late. They told me at the puppy check it would be fine to give the second injection today knowing the dates she received the first injection (even though it was a day over the ten weeks). I even asked 'does the second injection need to be exactly at ten weeks?' and was told it didn't matter. When we arrived today, it was a different Vet, they told me that because she is a day late its probably not safe to take her out in two weeks. I was extremely annoyed at this as I had been given misleading information at the puppy check and obviously it has a negative impact on her development with not being able to walk her....the Vet then said she is prob ok to go round the block but no parks etc...she said to go back in two weeks for a Lepto....vaccination???. They also failed to give me the right information about worming at the puppy check so she has missed a course of that too...Any advice would be greatly received...From one stressed and worried puppy owner. Thankyou.

Ours had her first injection at 9 1/2 weeks then the second 2 weeks later.
Then we could take her out after 7 days.
She was wormed and treated for fleas on her first visit.

Thanks for that Paul. I think I have been badly misinformed and am looking for another vet....

Ozzie was given one vacc by the breeder's vet at 8 weeks.
We took him in for what we thought would be his 2nd and final shot at 10 weeks and were told he hadn't been given Lepto at the first shot so would need to come in for a third!
Final shot at 12 weeks and we were told he was to stay inside at least 10 days after that, so he was one day shy of 14 weeks before he got an outside walk
He was wormed at 8 weeks and has been wormed once per month since then. Our vet said to worm once per month until 6 months and 3-monthly after that.
He gets his Frontline (flea treatment) every second month on the same day as his worming tablet is due.
