Oyster is the first dog I've used a harness on and I must say she took to it like a duck to water. She just stood there while I had bits of head sticking out of wrong holes and two legs in the space for one....She is so patient. However, now we are both dab hands at it, she can't wear it. She is so tall that if I put the end of the dangly bit in the seatbelt hole (like it is supposed to), she can't sit up or turn around to get comfy. Rolling Eyes

I gave up and now stick her in the boot with the other two. Wink

Aimi

Sort of remind me of trying to get a nappy on my son when he had learn't to roll over.

You sort of had to pin him down with your head and knee while "doing" the nappy with my hands otherwise the little blighter would roll over and crawl off.

Are you old enough to remember Mick McManus on the wrestling every Saturday evening Rachel?

They used to "do" a throw called a "crutch hold and slam" and I used to use a similar technique on John in the end to get a nappy on him.

Perhaps poor Aimi might like to watch an old video of the wrestling to get some tips for putting the harness on Megan.

And think of the advantage she will have when she has kids Wink

Laughing Laughing Must say this post made me laugh. OH had a bit of a struggle the other day and a few choice words, trying to put Truffs new car harness on. He was quite proud of himself when he finally managed it! We let her run around with it on a bit before getting her into the car. Where with a little more struggle and the odd choice word or two he finally did the seat belt. Very Happy She seemed to settle down and off we went. Minutes later I turned round to see how she was doing and she was totally out of the thing!!!! Twisted Evil Talk about Harry Houdini! Laughing Laughing Laughing
