I am by no stretch of the imagination an expert - having only had my puppy for a week!!!!! However, for the first few days she would do the bite the towel thing and think it was great fun to turn the whole thing into a tug of war game. What we would do would be to simply GENTLY slide our fingers into the gap between her teeth (the same way the vet opens her jaw to examine her mouth) and loosen her grip on the towel, saying "leave" while we did it. She now does not bite the towel anymore, although still wriggles like an eel!!!
Liked the idea about smearing something tasty on the fridge! Genius!
Regards,
Aimi
