Hello everyone,
On this sad, sad day I thought I would start this thread to print off and give to Liz.....she already knew how special her Paul was.....thought it would be nice for her to see how special he was to us to........
Paul, you were one amazing, funny, honest friend.......remember all our jokes and ugly fugglies ? lol...... You were so happy when you were able to move to Devon....I remember that cold icy night well....I was lost, you were late but we still found each other, and the house lol. You were both even brave enough to eat my Lasanga too....
Your love for Liz and Shadow knew no limits, they were the most important things in your life and when you lost your dad last year, Liz was your rock.....and Shadow was your comfort.
You shared your love and passion for Labs with LF, as a Moderator and on LL you went out searching in all weathers for us more than once.....
We will all miss you so much and the world is worse off without you.....
Wait at the bridge my friend.....with your 'Zider ' in your hand, you will all be together again one day

We had the great honour and pleasure of meeting you, Liz and Shadow at the GT in 2005. We so enjoyed chatting to you all at the pre-GT BBQ and on the day itself. I remember you and I getting dragged off to have our faces painted, you were such a good sport and made us all smile (I managed to escape to the dog show which you had to judge with your face all made up!).
I remember from our early days on LF how much you used to post about your beloved Shadow. You were so devoted to him and that shone through in your posts. You always spoke about him with such love and affection and were truly an inspiration to all of us new owners on the site. And when we met you and Liz, such a lovely couple, we could see in the flesh what wonderful lab owners you were.
We're thinking of Liz, Shadow and your family and friends at this very sad time and hope that they can draw some strength and support from coming together and remembering a very special man who will live on in so many hearts.
May you rest in peace and we will always remember......
I remember when you first joined LF and we would chat online with other members in the afternoons and have a good laugh about things.
I'm so glad I got to meet you at the GT in 2006, you were such a nice, down to earth bloke and a good laugh. It was also a pleasure to meet the gorgeous Shadow and your lovely wife, Liz.
I cannot believe you've been taken away so soon and that you will no longer be on LF lurking away. Thinking of you and hope that the cider is just as good 'up there'.

I only met you once, but our meeting will always imprint on my mind. Doobie sends his deepest apologies for woofing at you when you were judging him, but he did say he was barking at the horse behind you, not you yourself.
I will miss your input here on the forums as I am sure everyone else will too. My thoughts go out to Pauls family and of course, Shadow.
