Hi we did'nt have much luck at Boston this time around never mind it was Alfie's first show he did really well and today at Bridgend was the same result But it was nice to finaly meet Sue and Clover after seeing Clover's face, i think it would be wise to buy a soft crate for benching better to be safe than sorry, it could of been her eye does any one now the size of the bench

Tell me about it Alison - it is definitely not what I expected to come home with I was in two minds about going today - but friends said to go anyway - I was pleased with Clover's result in graduate in spite of her 'war wound'
Alfie is gorgeous, stick with it, and I am sure his prizes will soon be thick and fast in coming that was a really strong puppy class today - the size being not far off what you would see at some champ shows
Oh poor Clover! I suppose I have something to be glad for with our cages.
I'm with you on that one - we use the soft crates at Open shows to no ill effect D I have been trying to get a piccie of Clover's face, but she isn't having any of it - she is more interested in watching "Tuner and Hooch" - hopefully there won't be any long lasting effects - although not sure what she will be like next time we have a benched show - she was a little reticent when I went back to collect my things yesterday - but thankfully it hasn't dampened her enthusiasm for life
Alyson - I am sorry to say that I missed you - will look out for you at future shows.
I feel absolutely shattered as I was out all weekend - had to go to KSS Lab Club Open Show on Sunday as am on committee - such a long weekend I was glad to go back to work for a rest!
Just caught up with this thread, Sue very sorry about poor Clover, I hope she doesnt suffer any long term affects with the benching. Unbelievable that some one would let their dog do that, and then not say a word
____________ I am only responsible for what I say, not for what you understand !
That was really bad luck for poor clover,I do think that the owner of the other dog should have been responsible for their dogs actions. And waited for you to explain the situation.
