My little Ruby was born on New Years Day (1/1/07!)

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

She came from a very small litter (at least I think so?!) - only 4 pups including herself!

3 females and 1 male, all yellow (but we knew they'd all be yellow Wink)

I'm after a female and the breeder is keeping 2 of the females herself, so I get the leftover female. Apparently 2 of them are pale and one is a medium yellow. She knows I'm after a pale yellow but she won't know which 2 she is keeping until they are 8 weeks old, so now I just have to cross my fingers that a pale one is the leftover Razz (I prefer the pale yellows but I am willing to take the medium coloured one if it comes to that).

I hope she sends me some photos soon! I can't wait to go see them myself! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Yay!

P.S. Which sized bed would be best for a fully grown labrador? 86cm x 66cm or 100cm x 84cm ?? Exclamation

Aww many Congratulations on your new baby lab!

We bought the 100cm x 84cm bed and she loves it, looks abit odd but once all her toys are in she loves it

Cant wait to see some pics of your little baby

Congrats on the birth of you new baby!! Laughing Laughing , hope you get the lighter coloured one, am sure you`ll love her no matter what colour she is Very Happy

I`d go for the bigger bed so Ruby can stretch out full length if she wants to once sully grown, she`ll look a bit silly to begin with but she`ll grow quickly! Very Happy

Thanks, guys!

So is the 100x84cm bed a bit too big, then? Do you think the 86x66cm would be sufficient? How old is Rosie? (btw.. Rosie was my 2nd choice for my pup name - if I ever get another pup in the future I might call her Rosie. Ruby & Rosie Laughing )

Thanks!

The bigger bed unfortunately doesn't seem to come in the design I wanted Sad I'm hoping the slightly smaller one will be ok!

Rosie is now 14wks old and huge lol

When i got her bed i just went with a practical one in a plain colour that was washable and so glad i did as it gets really dirty with her slops and dirty paws, she can lie stretched out but prefers to lie half in and have her head hanging out!

Im sure that smaller one will be ok but you might have to replace it when she grows and they do very quickly lol

Love the name Ruby too and Ruby and Rosie does sound nice together

Wishing you and Ruby a lovely future together

lea x

Your Ruby seems to have plenty of room for her and her toys with room to spare! Laughing But I guess I have to think about the inner dimensions as well. It's all too much! Laughing I have so much to buy and so much to do before she comes home! Shocked

Thanks for the input so far, everyone! Very Happy
