That is really helpful, thanks. It has just answered a couple of questions I was pondering over.

Hello,
I'm a newbie with a question.....
I'm still trying to find my way around this site (i'm a subscriber) although I find it really confusing at the mo!
How do I know when a thread i've replied to has had another post on it after mine? I can't see a list?? I have found (once!) where it lists my last 10 posts, but how do I see replies to my posts (if I have any)?
Thanks

Hi if you look at the end of a post where the quick reply box is underneath that there is an option to tick a box that says notify me when a reply is posted...does that help?

Right, the MENU on the left hand side of the page gives you all the topics that we cover.
If you are a SUBSCRIBER, which is highly recomended if you are going to use the site a lot, you have access to all areas.
A NON SUBSCRIBING MEMBER is only allowed 10 posts and cannot use the private message (PM) function or access the photo gallery or use the chat rooms, play games or use the radio features etc.
Thanks for that as we are expecting our first lab puppy coming in 2 weeks i am going to subscribe and see if i can figure out what to do lol
KARMA What is it? If you read a post from someone that you find very helpfull or makes you smile or you feel that the poster deserves some recognition then, you will find a little button at the top of the post in question that says THANK Click on that and it will add one Karma point to that posters total.
LABPOUNDS. These are what you earn each time you submit a post and when you have a certain amount, they can be spent in the FORUM SHOP to buy glows to brighten up your username or change you title. (DO NOT BUY COLOURS, THEY DONT WORK )
RANKS. You will see under your username that you have PAWPRINTS. These change as you post more. (If you click on Forum Ranks you will see how many posts you need to gain each rank)
Hope this has helped to explain the basics, but if you have any other questions, please dont hesitate to ask and we will try to help |
