OMG Jue and I pop away for a nice weekend away with Brad to visit a couple of labby owning friends up in Liverpool, we come back and WW3 has started !!!

I am truly saddened that in the space of 2 days the site could unravel to this extent. It is nice to see a few stalwarts of sanity trying to explain things to those who seem intent on causing disuption.

Please bear with us whilst jue and i plough through all the facts and construct a reponse.

I will reiterate one thing, LF is a private site, it is not a club, a committee etc etc, its just little old me and Jue for better or worse.

So many things change on such big sites like LF on a daily basis that if we opened everything up to member vote we would never get anything done (I know this from bitter experience of running community websites for many years now!!!) Also a lot of work goes on in the background from our great moderators to ensure your experience of the site is fair and just and you are not preached to / spammed / advertised to etc

We DO listen to feedback and make changes in response to it.

We DO NOT respond well to threatening emails / PMs / posts in forums !!!

LF is not a huge commercial enterprise. Far from it, out of the revenue i make on a monthly basis minus operating costs like servers etc I would estimate (Not that i should even have to even justify myself) that LF brings in probably £100 a month if i am very lucky. On top of this a lot of things on LF cost money throughout the year (The Annual GT isn't a money spinner btw it actually costs us a pretty penny to host due to hidden costs like venue hire / liability insurance etc)
