HAHA Went over the park in the howling wind and rain this morning, let Toby off the lead and he stood looking at me as though saying, but mum i dont want to run about, i want to go home, i no like this weather.
He goes into the conservatroy if he wants out, heards the rain on the roof, turns and straight back into the livingroom and onto the couch to cuddle down lol. My dog is a wimp in this weather!
Were getting some shocking weather the now, bring on the frost at least then its brighter and dry!
It started out with the rain on and off most of the morning, now its turning wintry. Oh how I love looking at the country side covered in snow, untill you have got to go out and try and walk in it, but the dogs seem to love it.
I hate this weather at the mo. I love walking in the rain but when its really windy too - talk about red ears!!!!! The ground is so saturated at the moment, there is mud everywhere! Not that the dogs care - they love it all weathers!!!! Roll on snow though, as Gracie has never seen snow so I can't wait to see her face!!!
The weather is ok here, it was lovely this morning but its coming over a bit dull now. My dogs hate the rain, they sulk about getting wet, but the see a river, or the sea or even a flipping garden pond and they cant wait to dive in!!!!
It is really terrible today, hope the winds do not carry on for too much longer as people are going to suffer from structural damage. The road out the front of my house is quite badly flooded, just through the drains not being able to cope...... so you have to go out with extreme care It does not feel like Christmas anyway.
the weather here is awful too. lots of wind and its even bog like on the high ground! lovely! and being a lab he likes to go bouncing through the mud!
but i brought a lovely new ski-type jacket on sunday - its normally 80 quid but got it in cost-co at 30!
good make too, waterproof and wind proof - very useful right now - plus its red

Not nice weather here either.
I love my walking boots and wear them all the time! Gaters are great too and have saved the bottoms of my trousers from getting wet and muddy on many occasions.
Once when hubby and I were out walking, he fell into a deep mud hole! I used my walking stick to pull him out..after I had stopped laughing!
I always take a first aid kit up on the mountains too, lots of fruit, water and some chocolate.
