Hi

Whats the weather where you are, its so wet here at the moment and very windy that I am thinking is it ever going to stop. The dogs are even stopping at the front door as if to say.........do i really have to go out in that?

The first walk of the day includes a run in the field due to the fact the days are so short at the moment, and the rest of the walks through out the day are on the lead. They go out for 5 walks in total. Rolling Eyes

What really annoys me though are the people from around here that dont even bother giving their dogs any kind of walks apart from letting them out into the garden when they are quite capable of giving them a walk, its seems to be the weather puts them off. You want a dog, then be prepared to walk it, it benefits you aswell. Wink

Arr, but don't forget you are nearer the Artic Circle than me! Wink The sun is shining and there is a bright golden haze on the meadow around here.

We've had torrential rain this morning, and the wind is freezing. Told Corbie he's got to wait a while to go out, I don't mind going out in the rain but I don't want to get soaked before I get to the end of the drive lol

There was snow on the hills here yesterday down to about 500m.

Starting to look a bit brighter now though.

We have had very wet and windy weather lately and the ground is absolutely sodden. Was quite a frost this morning though so now the ground is rock hard!

I walk Rolo in all weathers one of the 'pleasures' of having a dog though I really need to invest in a good waterproof hat that stays on in gale force winds! Rolo doesn't mind the rain at all but like Mia she also really hates the wind up her bum Shocked lol

well the weather here was lovely first thing, so we went out for a long walk, only problem now is its gone really dark and gloomy and the rain's coming thick and fast.

Cally won't go in the garden at the moment, far too boggy for her liking patio area much preferred! Confused

As for walks in this weather, we go, but Cally objects, and is keen to get back as soon as we set foot outside!!! Our favourite walks are down by the local rivers, but have become much more treacherous due to the excess water and mud, and the moors are even more sodden than normal. So bad in places that wellies are no good whatsoever, anyone have any spare gators? (If that's what they're called)!

gators, yes that's what they're called Wink

Sun has just come out - but can't get Corbie out until postman arrives in case he's got parcels, so hope he's soon otherwise it will start raining again!
