It made me think about what I see in my three's eyes as well....so I went to have a look .
In Oyster's eyes I found trust, love, a little mischief and a lot of confusion.
In Mojo's I found complete devotion, the desire to please, the desperate need to get it right, the urgency to learn......and a sensitivity to my every feeling.
In Tara's eyes I found so much I can't express....everything we shared over the years, complete loyalty and trust, a real depth of wisdom and the love of a true friend.
They are my past, present and future....they are my world.
Im with you Sara, blubbing like a baby reading this thread. I must say since being blessed with Rolo for a couple of months now I am very humbled by her trust in me and the amount of love that I have for her.
She is indeed an angel .. though without doubt a devillish streak
jees i've just watched the Lab welfare clip and got a tear in my eye and then read this!!!
When Oscar was in the kennels his eyes told me that he was happy - he was keeping faith and he knew that someone would take him home but there was also a secret plea in there too....
now i look into his eyes and they tell me that he's loving every moment just incase it ends again and he goes back to the kennel. He's eyes are full of mischeif and hunger!! but also full of unconditional love.
I don't have children but i can only imagine the love that i have for oscar is just as strong as you would have with a child.
