They are such a wonderful breed Rose. All they need is a chance to show it. Trouble is, so many times they are simply never given that chance.

mary- yes , im getting ready for this naughty stage, you're not the first person to worn me about it!!!
KB- thank you, i was going to call my son george when he was born but called him ben in the end , i kind of got a second chance at having the name for one of my babies!!!
alfies mum- yes i put alot of hard work in and still do, every spare minute i would put to spending time playing and training him, i think having all the attention from my children helps teach him how he needs to behave aswell.
lucy- i am looking forward to meeting up aswell. it will be nice to have the chance to let george play with a dog that i know is there to play back, and im not going to upset any owners!!
bobs mom- kiss and hug given!!
and the same from me to yours please!
they do make your heart melt , its those ears , they get me everytime!!
john- you are right, so many people take on labs and think it will be easy, half the time they dont get chance to get over the puppy stage, which can be very hard.
but george will be here till the bitter end!
thanx for all your posts, it makes me feel that im not the only nut case out there!!
