I'm pleased everything is going well! Shep settled very well too considering that he had also been passed about after having a long ride up from Berkshire (to the north east) then having to leave his family who he had been with for 11 years. I think for a long time he thought it was a temporary situation as he also sees my BIL very occasionally and he wasn't sure who he had to go with at times. But he now understands that his home is here and its never bothered him. I suppose I did mamby pamby him alot when he first arrived and still do! but its funny that Shep never pined for my BIL even after 11 years! he just got on with it! best of luck with Topsy!
