Well I am one proud Mummy tonight and also one very contrite mummy too!!!!! 
Out on our evening walk.... getting wet and wind swept...me muttering about exchanging Sherpa for a Gerbil ( no wet walkies needed!!! )
When as we are heading home Sherpa dives into a bush  ... and comes out with what looks to me in the dark and with the rain pelting down a dead rodent 
So having yelled loudly and sternly for him to DROP ... which he did ..then looked at me all puppy dog eyed...I realised that it was a purse!!
Got Home rang the police as the purse contained credit cards and money and all i could think of is how frantic i would be to lose mine....
Within 30 mins the phone went and a woman asked if I was the person who had found her purse... I said no not me but my dog had ..Having given her directions to my house she then said...
" OMG are you Sherpa's mummy??" I said yes !!! Well It turned out that we have met on a few occassions when out walking our dogs... So she came round gave Sherpa a treat and lots of praise and went away happy and relieved...
Now i'm having to grovel bigtime to his labship for hollering at him to DROP and give him his due for bieng a Star and making someones night
