If shooting's not allowed over there then there is no reason to train for shot Sarah. In fact I use a .22 starting pistol to simulate gunfire with young dogs and get my gamekeeper to fire his 12 bore around them as they get older. But you can get quite a loud bang simply by slapping two dummies together. (The technique I use when training in a public place.)
