Colette there are some super Champ shows in Scotland... but like the rest of us you will have to travel.... put the time and effort into showing your girl.... we often travel 14hour round trips... or stay overnight down south... similarly with people down south, they travel to the scottish show.... its up to you colette, to make the effort.
similarly, when you enter Champ shows Collette... it helps if you actually turn up
I would like to get to all the ones that I enter if Ellie did not come into season at the wrong time, and my chaufeur who isnt always up for travelling due to his health. Or I could find someone going to the same shows as me that I could get a lift from. lol.

Colette, If I were there to give you the results, I would....
And sarah, I am sure your mum was endging her chair away from me in that... 'we dont know her' fashion
I had a strop... not a big one, ....
I left with bags of time to spare... but of course the heavens opened and gale force winds kept my speed to a minimum... and arrived at the show just in time to give a cheer to BOB yep, missed my breed classes... not to worry I thought, now that I am here... will simply get Tia's no. from steward and take her into brace, after Wallace goes into his AV puppy classes.... and this is where I have my mini strop and the judge re-arranges his lunch break to accomdate me.
The AV classes were to come directly after the group, so I hung around (should have gone home ) while the group were being judged, the steward came and informed us (me, Sarahs' mum and a couple of others) that judge would be going off for lunch, and the AV classes would not be judged until later... I grab my coat, and say "thats it, I'm off." So, nice Mr Steward man, said hold on, will see what he could do...and toddled off to speak to the AV judge.... Who just happened to be the group judge... I really should have made a discreet exit at this point... Judge agreed to take the AV classes BEFORE his lunch.... and a smile returns to my face... although have noticed I seem to be standing alone at this point... I have been disowned ... AV Minor puppy goes along smoothly and 6month old Lab puppy won a very good class.... next in the ring is Wallace (AV puppy).... good class, and well, you've probably guessed.. we got well and truly BOOTED I'm convinced the judge winked at me as we left the ring
Sorry to hear that you missed it too Kay. The storm we had here through the night brought down a tree across the road. The only way out of the village.
So I was spitting chips too.
