Only just seen this Trizia. A friend has two labs, one has a bad back problem and the other is just an old lady.

She got a ramp and strangely, the lab she thought would dislike it was fine and uses it with no problem, the other she thought would be OK flatly refuses to use it.

Might be an idea, if practical to try Sherpa out with a ramp before investing. He may not like it. Just a thought
