A canine car ramp or stairs ??
We have recently changed my car for Sherpa's sake..... because of his bad knee we had noticed that he was struggling to jump into the back of my old car... we tried letting him onto the back seat via the side door which he could ..But he was never comfortable sitting on a seat as opposed to bieng able to lie down on a solid surface..
So we searched for and found a low lipped booted car with lots of room for him....
But on the last two occassions he has on the way back from a walk knocked his knee when jumping back into the car... Always his bad knee ...
So i'm wondering about getting one of these ramps/stairs for cars...
I'd love some feedback from anyone who may have or is using one.... pros/cons etc and where to find the best one?? etc...
Thanks,
Trizia

Thanks Hen
And now it's confession time.......... Did anyone ( apart from Karen that is!!!! )notice that i had not put enough info in my request title post Call myself a Moderator
OK sensible head on now..... They look sturdy so i'm thinking this will help ...The vet had suggested a while back when i was concerned about his getting into the car using a towel under his tum so that when he positions his front legs into the boot gently lifting him in that way..But iv'e never felt confident with that method and was more afraid i would do more harm than good.. ....
it would be great to know someone has used one of these ramps and how thier dog has gotten on with it..
Trizia xx
