Jess is being whistle trained atm since last Thursday (I decided to train her this way as she always came to Sheena when Fudge was called.) She really does love doing it as she gets a coachie when she responds. She saw lots of dogs today in the park and they were all having lots of fun in the mud. One set of dogs were having a ball as owners had birthday cake and Jess sat there transfixed ( Jess loves food btw) Normally if I was with Sheena Jess and Fudge ignore other dogs and go play together but today she refused when I first called her. I called her 3 more times, but no she wouldn't move. Out came the whistle with 3 peeps and she came flying to me. I was so proud of my little baby She is learning so quickly with the whistle and one owner even came to tell me today that I have a very well behaved dog he hasn't seen Jess normally then

Fantastic.
Took Kips to training classes when she was a pup, but responded so much better on 1:1 training with an ex- police dog handler friend who taught ME to whistle train her. She throws a deaf one on voice commands but on the whistle - Great
Bet you feel really proud.
