Thanks Jen, I really appreciate your reply - I wasn't sure where to go to after the Health Visitor, but I will make an appointment with our GP this week to discuss this further and ask for a referral. And, yes, I do know what you mean about family thinking everything is fine, but they don't live with him 24/7 and see what happens on a daily basis ...

I do love him so much, but everything has to be on his terms which can be so hard - it's also such a shame for him as he hardly ever gets invites to parties/or friends houses - we have invited people back, but we find we don't tend to get a return invite. Once we've spoken to the Doctor, I will let you know how we get on!

Thanks again.

Heather

What a difference a dog can make. I came across Clive and Murray's blog , Clive being a fabulous GoldiexPoodle assistance dog for Murray who has autism.

A lovely blog about a special boy and his special canine, enjoy Very Happy

Hi,My eldest son,Asa,10, is registered blind. He does have a little sight. But he has learnt braille and uses a cane, although he hates it and prefers to go it alone. He is very confident and is just as much a horror as my other two,and is treated no differently.Teddy is (a bit) careful round him,i think he knows there's something different.Love em all to bits x
