hi everyone,
sorry i havent been on for a while been busy with my new baby!!!!
i have had him for 10 days now and he is an angel - his name is Scooby and he is 6+years old, my cats are not too impressed with him at the moment, but with time and patience i am hoping they can all get on okay together.
he hasn't been taken care of properly - his teeth are all ground down and broken, due to him chewing stones - but the vet said he doesnt seem to be in any pain with them and he is eating and chewing his toys ok.
the vet gave him a good examination and his jabs, he yelped out when his left hip was examined, so the vet thinks he could have some hip dysplasia 
and definately arthiritis - so he is on metacam to see how he gets on.
he seems to be a bit more livelier since giving him the medicine, and i am also giving him some glucosamine & chondroitin supplements.
here are a couple of pics of him, will keep you updated with his progress
