my mum got a jack russell x fox terrier
she came from my sister in laws mother so my sister in law got one also

well the two arrived together and mum went to pick up daisy meanwhile jo had to work so asked mum if she would take lilo for a few days because she was nervous about seperating them and also having a long day at work

mum took them but they did nothing but fight all day and nite

now 19 months on when they see each other they still go for it
and its not nice play either...

Glad to hear that you are chilling out and have had lots of support from people here. You are absolutely right in what you say about having two pups. One thing I read before I got Katie was that in some cases where people buy two pups from a litter, they play together, sleep together, eat together etc etc and can ignore the owner. Think it was something like that anyway!

Some people dont like advice especially when it is the right advice but not what they want to hear.

It was because of this site I decided against getting two pups from the same litter and I am so glad I took all your advice. What is the point of asking the question if you aren't going to listen to the valuable advice you are given! You have done the right thing Maddie, the other person will find out in the long run Very Happy

Its a sad fact Nicola that some rescues, use people who do not always have that much experience. I suppose as mostly they are volunteers and the rescue is glad of help. I think they should perhaps be a little more careful, or at least be prepared to train their volunteers.

I know from personal experience Embarassed Took on volunteer work for a local rescue without knowing as much as I should have done. Fortunatley I realised, gave up, learnt more and returned.

Don't be upset, you did the right thing, its them that are in the wrong.
