I post on another forum. Someone rescued a litter of "Andrex look alikes" and was trying to find homes. One lady said she would like to take two boys and I just pointed out that sometimes there could be issues of sibling rivalry. Of course I am totally in the wrong now, interferring, know nothing. "I know plenty of people who have taken same sex pups from the same litter with no problem" blah, blah, blah!

I feel really upset, my post was well intentioned because I know it can cause BIG problems. Now I am being accused of interferring do-gooder.

Sorry, needed to rant. But would the "rescuer" have let potential owners know there could be issues? I doubt it and then the poor pups end up back on the scrap heap again when theri new owner can't cope with a couple of teenage hooligans.

Ohhhh, Nicola, I know the forum you mean and have been following that thread ... YOU SAID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING OUT OF ORDER!!!!

The other poster is clearly v. insecure about themselves, so don't feel bad ... hard, I know, but you are helpful, you are knowledgeable, you are kind, and anyone who doesn't see that doesn't deserve the benefit of your expereince.

So there! Go and have a glass of wine and play with your pup ... great therapy.

Thanks Cally. Embarassed I know lots of people have not had problems but it would only take one inexperienced owner for those poor boys to be back on the scrap heap away. (BTW What has rehoming dogs got to do with owning a stable of expensive horses? Wink Laughing Laughing Sorry Cally, could not resist that one. Twisted Evil )

Yep, a nice glass of rose and a cuddle are in order!!

You are so right about the horses ... Wink what was all that about???!!!

Remember you have mod status there, and that means that MOST posters respect and welcome what you have to say. Don't ever stop sharing what you know, it's too valuable.

Hope the rose and cuddle has given you zen-like feelings ... Very Happy

I stopped posting and clicked into mainly-lurker mode there a while ago - some of the posters can be a bit ... over-zealous and quick to judge. Not my idea of fun, and I have little patience with it, so I really respect you for staying around.

Yep, for sure - B&H, wine, B&H, wine, B&H, more wine... can't beat it. Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing ... off to zen-den for another glass ....

I feel some sense of loyalty to the forum "owners", Monika and Finlay. They run it for free (not that I mind paying in case Julie and Dave are reading LOL!) and get little or no thanks for doing so.

You Mods on this site don't know you are born! Laughing Laughing You wanna try my other site and see the blooming hassle I get there! This is my haven of peace and harmony!!
