I saw it on the telly looks fun. Very Happy

Teams of dogs race each other, they have to run up and release the flyball, catch it then run back to handler and then the next dog goes.

Looks really fast Very Happy

The dogs have to press a button which shoots a tennis ball out and they have to chase and retrieve it !

I'm sure its not as simple as i have explained and there is probably loads more to it , it does look lots of fun though !

Someone else will be sure to have a better explanation than me Laughing

What a coincidence. Went to our Pets Pantry store today as the Burns Rep was going to be there and the captain of our local flyball team was there and was trying to persuade me to bring Jd down to see what it was all about. If your dog is fast and can do basic recall and other commands it is worth looking into so I might look further into it when Jd is 6months old.

Oooo sounds good, Fudge might enjoy that as she loves her balls and jumping for them. Will her hips be okay for this type of exercise

Good question, I would imagine they wouldn't be able to compete till they are over a year old but just train to be in the team perhaps?

The vid on that sight is confusing though as the only flyball I've seen they hit a button and the ball is forced up in the air and they have to jump for it Shocked
