Hi everyone!

We were walking our lab,Merlin, and he was saying hello to another dog and the dogs owner took out a stick and whacked Merlin over the head!
My mum shouted '' oy ! what do you think you are doing! my dog is friendly'' but the man just ignored her and walked on! Evil or Very Mad

has anyone else had an experience like this?

I don't know how you remained calm, he would of had a piece of my mind even if he did walk off, I am so angry with people like him. Hate to think what he does to his dog if he will do that to another person's dog. Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

Hope Merlin is ok after that, I`d have felt like retaliating, but it would have made no difference probably other than get you into trouble.

As Tammy says I dread to think how he treats his own dog if he`ll do that to someone elses Evil or Very Mad

It is a disgrace that some people think it is OK to behave like this towards other dogs.

What would he have done if the dog had lunged at him because it felt threatened! Probably filed a report under the Dangerous Dogs legislation. Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad
