hehe she has been an ange - no mess to speak off again last night just a patch about the size of a ten pence piece on her bedding. Tissue test is clear but if you examine her she is definitely in season - I amhoping she is just very clean but I know this is the lightest time and ina few days it could be a whole different story.

Good to hear Ruby`s in season at last Vicky, have to admit I did a double take when I saw the thread title cos I could have sworn you`d said you`d booked her in for a spay!!, thankfully I was right Very Happy

When Cindy had her season`s she was very clean, never saw any blood at all, only knew she was in season cos of her shoving her rear in the boys faces (the three males I had at the time) Laughing Laughing

Good to know it won`t spoil the arrival of Henry, Ruby will have recovered from her spay well in time for his arrival Very Happy

poor little Rubes she is sulking big time. Ears all down eyes all big you can almost see her bottom lip quiver as she looks whistfully out of the back door to her beloved much missed forest Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

She isnt touching her food and doesnt seem happy - although I gave her a massive toy bear yesterday which she loved and she seemed like herself again while she killed it hehehehehehehe

Does the sulking carry on for all the 4 weeks - she may not ven be sulking but thats the best way I can describe it she may be feeling very very weird I suppose *sigh*

Well day 7 and all is well - Ruby is being an angel - not messy at all and not being any moodier than usual. I must say they are wonderful arent they after a dodgy and heartbreaking start to the week with Ruby wagging her tail frantically as I got dressed thinking we were off to the forest as usual she has settled into her excile with good grace. The tennis ball addicition is paying off big time a 15 minute game of fetch in the garden each day is keeping her amused.

Ruby appears to have slowed on the bleeding front though - is this a very light season or is she ovulating I wonder Confused

Also if she does stop bleeding after say 2 weeks am I ok to take her out or should I keep her in the whole 4 weeks?????????????? Any ideas?
