When we planned our kitchen we incorporated a 300mm( should have got a 400mm hindsight!! Rolling Eyes ) floor cupboard specially for the bin. Its in a corner by the sink so its difficult to open unless using the handle. But we didnt have a problem before this- but we didnt have a puppy. I am a bit OCD re emptying it anyway so never really was a problem before we got the cupboard..

Our bin is a supermarket carrier bag on the bench.
Shep would have a bin over, not sure about Amber but no doubt she'd help him out!

Bag handing on door knob! They very rarely try to get to it and it means it gets dumped regularly as it's so small

Rosie has not yet worked out the pedal bin, after reading posts on here I consider myself lucky - although I wouldn't be surprised if she did one day, she's pretty good at opening doors.

However before getting her we looked after Byron (another chocolate lab) for friends and woke up one morning to find he had emptied the bin all over the floor in search of the lovely smelly squid innards we'd put in it!

We do the bag hanging on the door handle thing also. Truffs hasn't taken any notice of it yet! Don't know what to do if she goes for it!
