I was told by police that were investigating burgalries on a few neighbours that they would avoid our house as Elsa made too much noise when any-one came near. . She used to actually climb up the back of a chair and then stand on the window ledge. She even did it when the police came to the door but as soon I opened the door they could see she was all bark. They said a barking dog was the best deterrent.
