Tia's pups are now 18 weeks old, and I entered Tia into a show a few weeks ago... Hoping that she may just about be ready to go back into the ring...
Well... still a little way to go on her coat, but its coming along nicely.. and she has begun to move well again...body firmed up well after her poor boobs were trailing the ground from feeding 10 greedy pups lol....
She showed her little socks off, giving everything she had...
1st AV gundog Graduate (14 entries)
1st AV Gundog Open (9 entries)
1st Labrador Retriever Open (7 entries)
BOB
8month old Wallace
3rd Minor Puppy (10 entries)
3rd labrador Retriever Open (7 entries) Dont ask how I managed to put a minor puppy into the Open class lol.. but thought, what the heck after I was there
Ollie was entered into the Qualified for Crufts 07 class, but decided after 2hours sleep not to take him... too much like hard work lol....
had a fantastic evening at the Lab Club of Scotland dinner dance last night, but took 3 hours instead of usual 1.5hrs to drive home in whiteout conditions... got home at 4am and off to a show at 7am
Blinking good results Kay, great job and well done all round!
Sometimes I think those girls are so pleased to be out again after their enforced lay off they give off a certain 'zing' those first few events back
Really.... great job! Can't wait to see them at crufts as we live so far apart... are you taking a page in the LRC Yearbook this year? (Come to think of it have submissions closed???)
Thanks Di, its great to have my girl back out there I am sure you are right... She's has been slightly 'stir crazy' .. and has missed out on the shooting season too... She's a picker upper , but unsure of what cort of condition she would be in... I bowed her out for the season...
not taking part in the yearbood... I just dont have decent enough photos.. even my photos for Lab Club Scotland last year were dreadful...
I have a photographer lined up, and if he can get me decent photos for this year, I will ask Anne J. if I can do a late submission... (I have Ollie's photos for his official 'Topspect Equine campaign poster', but again, good enough for advertising a product, but not good enough for submission in the year book.
I will have a submission for lab Club Scotland Year book as usual though, being allowed time for late submission
Tia's pup will be 6months on 30th December, so will be at Boston Champ Show with her on 6th Jan, with Crufts entries at the ready
Congratulations Kay on a great return to the ring for Tia, well done to Wallace to, good to hear you had a good time at the dinner, how you manage on so little sleep I have no idea!
oh kay, congrats again and yearbook!!?? What a headache. Funds allow only two done this year as with chocolates I need colour adverts really. B&W just don't do them justice. Could be bankrupt in 3 clubs if I did all i'd like to
Pictures area nightmare, have some professional ones going in and some I took. bah.... good enough but not quiet what i'd want really...
Great again and take care! Would come to Boston but not quite my judges and KSS Open the next day and have to help
