Hi All,
As we know you are all such good walkers as you do it everyday, we have decided to organise a sponsored walk for charity, to take place at the Get Together at Kingsbury Water Park.
We have taken into account that the little pups amongst your lovely labs might not be up to much, so we have put together the following two walks;
1) The 1km Puppy Toddle
AND
2) The 3km Lab Waddle
It's all for fun of course, can't wait to see all the little ones doing their walkies, the older labs will of course have to show them how it's done!
I will soon be getting some sponsor forms which we will be able to distribute to you all, so i'll let you know when they arrive.
Might be a good opportunity for your Labs to show their butts of if they have entered the 'best butt' competition at the Paws For Applause show!
One last thing to say.... Walkies Everyone!
Julie

Hi Julie
What a wonderful idea Julie - and great charities to support. I look forward to receiving my sponsor form.
The competition sounds fantastic! Smudge has a real sexy little wiggle! lol! It makes me laugh as I'm dragged along behind him (you know, when he's supposed to be walking nicely just in front of me!).
All the best,
Nicola.

LOL - Nic can't wait to see Smudge's little wiggle!!!
Is going to be funny watching them 'walk nicely' with their owners, no doubt Bradley will be trying to sniff someones butt!!
Should have some more info for you all this week - so i'll keep you posted
Who's going in for the 'Lab Waddle' then? Have we got any 'puppy toddlers' amongst us?
Will definately be a good opportunity for a photo - all those little butts a wiggling!! (That's the labs not yours btw )

Hi Julie, lovely idea, I think we should be up for the 3km waddle.
Cristina, i think 3km is just over 1 1/2 miles and the 1km about 1/2 mile?

Hi All,
If you're coming to the Get Together and participating in the charity walk, please let us know by replying to this thread. We can then get all the adequate sponorship materials required. We do hope that you will be able to participate (providing your lab is in full health of course) as the proceeds will all be donated to Cancer Research UK.
As you will probably agree - a very worthy cause.
Many Thanks for all your support.
